When I was younger I really enjoyed spending my Friday nights at a bookstore called Borders, I am not sure if they are even around anymore honestly, but anyways, I really enjoyed looking at all the books and I know it is horrible, but I tend to judge a book by its cover, presentation is everything to me, that and good four star review on Amazon.
As I was walking around Barnes & Nobles I came across these two books you see in the picture.
We have always lived in a castle, was a employee recommendation and I must admit the cover intrigued me, and The Land of Stories was right next to it, I know it is a children's book, but a good book is a good book no matter what intended age group, am I right?
So I settled on getting these books, however I always price check on Amazon, it is nice being a prime member and knowing that your books would arrive in two days. So if there was a significant price gap, I usually order it right then and there on my phone. This is when I discovered that Amazon made their app ridiculously even more convinient (Hey if you do not have the App if you use my code ALIXA3431N you will get $5.00 off your first purchase using the app and I will get $5.00 too, sounds like a win win situation ) and all you have to do now is let is scan the cover of the book and it pulls it up automatically. This was entertaining for me to do, so I spent the next twenty minutes doing just that. I am a Information Technology major so n a t u r a l l y it had me all giddy.
Based on the reviews of these books I think I will enjoy them, however only time will tell, I will be sure to write a review once I am done. If I end up liking one I would love to set up a Amazon giveaway of one of them for one of you!
Let me know what books you are reading or plan on reading, I love recommendations.
With All Hope,
